Women's Room
Providing a women-only safe and friendly environment on campus,
the Women's Room is located on level three of the Campus Hub
Building, C10A, at the very end of the hallway opposite the Boyd
Room. Boys under 12 years old are also welcome when accompanied by
a woman.
Opening Hours
Monday - Thursday: 9.00am - 7.00pm
Friday - 9.00am - 6.00pm
Women's Room Clean Up party!
Thank you to all the Women who helped with the clean up party!
The new location of the room is looking great, and encourage
everyone to drop in and come visit!
The Women's Room needs you!
The Women's Room will be moving to a brand new space in a few
months and we would love to hear any suggestions you have for how
it should be laid out and what facilities you would like in
there.
We are also getting together a Women's Collective. There are
many different things a collective can do, from having a regular
discussion group to running events and campaigns around specific
issues. The Women's Collective will also be able to liaise directly
with the Women's Officer, putting forward their suggestions and
ideas for how to make life better and more fun for women on
campus.
To make suggestions for the new Women's Room, or to express
interest in the program, or to get involved in any other way,

Resouces
Resources include a comprehensive women's library,
contraception, sanitary protection, breastfeeding, baby changing
facilities and much more.
The Women's Room offers an opportunity for women to rest,
reflect, socialise and study.
Support and information is available covering a
range of topics including:
- women's health
- counselling options
- childcare
- drugs, alcohol, and/or gambling
- relationships
- adjusting to life at university
- stress management
- sexual health
- domestic violence
- sexual assault
- and more!
Women's Room Survey
To ensure the Women's Room is meeting the needs of female
students and staff on campus, and to have your say in how you would
like the Women's Room to be, you are invited to complete a short (5
minute) survey. All respondents go into the draw to win an i-pod.
